Many people looking for a dentist also need a doctor, and this group lists the medical clinics, family physicians, urgent care and walk-in centers, hospitals, pediatricians, eye doctors, medical specialists and pharmacies near the dental practices on the site. Primary care in the US runs through family doctors and internists who coordinate referrals; urgent care centers handle minor injuries and illnesses without an appointment for far less than an emergency room; hospitals with emergency departments are the place for severe facial trauma or a dental infection that spreads. Pharmacies fill the antibiotics and pain medication a dentist prescribes and sell fluoride rinses and prescription-strength toothpaste.

THANK YOU TO THE ENTIRE TEAM for the excellent care you have extended to my mother. She calls you HER team and is most comfortable in your care (which makes the bar very, very high for the next facility to match). Your entire staff - from maintenance to specialist doctors and all the nurses and care managers in between - are 5-star providers. We appreciate you listening to our concerns and acting on them. No one made us feel like we were bothering you or that we didn't matter. Mom's issues - combined - make this a very tough case to manage and treat. Not for the crew at Halifax Health. Thank you.

Angelica Diez treated me like a drug addict and showed no concern at all for my leg which is the reason that I went there in the first place. Before I even mentioned my other prescriptions she was very short with me, and she had no bedside manner whatsoever. The young lady that was assisting her wasn't much better. They made me feel like I was inconveniencing them. You know, I've been clean and sober for over a month and I also struggle with mental illness, but since when does that make me less of a person. Honestly, I can go on and on about how poorly I was treated, but it's not even worth it right now. Let me just end by saying that Angelica also lied on her report which I just read on the My Chart website. She claims that I asked for a refill of my Vyvanse when that absolutely never happened. First of all, why would I request a refill when I still have plenty left? She is clearly implying that I must've abused my meds and ran out which is not the case at all. Secondly, how dumb would I have to be to request a refill more then two weeks early knowing that there is no way any pharmacy would fill it. So, in conclusion, not only did Angelica treat me like a drug addict w

Kandance, rn emergency nurse is dishonest in her discharge summary . I think she thinks some people read don't them. She stated SEVERAL lies on communication that she did NOT do. She just wrote it in the discharge summary and clinical notes. She was trying to push chest pain on me when I told the hospital several times I didn't have chest pain. She said I denied chest pain clinic, why would I do that when I wasn't haven't chest pain. Then the best one, I demanded discharge. Please get your story straight Kandance V. Why would I demand discharge when I received a text that my discharge was being prepared before ANYONE came to speak to me... Not professional at all. She is not an honest nurse. Please review her work.

I would definitely recommend Halifax Health. I had my baby here in June. Our nurse Kelsey was absolutely amazing and made us feel so comfortable during our induction. I didn't want to leave our nurse Kelsey as we were transferred to the other floor after birth. She was absolutely amazing. Thank you Kelsey!

went to the ER while pregnant because I was experiencing significant pain and suspected an infected impacted wisdom tooth. My main concern was making sure the infection wasn’t severe enough to affect my baby. Since it was a Sunday, I didn’t have other options and felt the ER was the safest choice. Initially, my experience was positive—until I was seen by Anjelica Diez. Unfortunately, her bedside manner was extremely poor. She came across as dismissive, abrasive, and unprofessional. After briefly examining my mouth, she stated she saw no tooth or infection and insisted that I was experiencing TMJ. This was confusing given my symptoms, so I asked a few follow-up questions. Instead of clarifying, her demeanor became even more rude and off-putting. The following day, I saw an oral surgeon and was diagnosed with a severely infected impacted wisdom tooth—confirming that my concerns were valid and that the ER diagnosis was incorrect. I’m sharing this not out of frustration alone, but out of concern. Being dismissed so quickly and inaccurately—especially while pregnant—was both alarming and unsettling. Patients deserve to feel heard, respected, and properly evaluated, particularly in an
